Carnival at the End of the World: Short Stories Call Out

Submissions are now open for short stories on the theme Carnival at the End of the World.

Writing of all genres, including experimental work, is welcome. You may focus on one element or the entire phrase. The selected works will be published in a collection by Buoy Press this autumn.

Buoy Press will be hosting Harper Walton as guest editor for this collection. Harper is a writer, editor and tutor from Bath. Their poetry, fiction and essays have been featured by 1883 Magazine, Whitechapel Gallery, Venice Biennale and more. They achieved third place in the Brick Lane Bookshop short story prize, and have won two Young Poets Network challenges.

Entries should be 1000-2500 words. Please send your submission as a Word document to the email address below/
