The Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting team passionately believe in supporting playwrights to develop their work and take advantage of the opportunities that are out there for anyone interested in playwriting. While our main focus has recently been on the 2013 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting, we want this website to be a wider resource to anyone interested in playwriting. On this page, we will be announcing any opportunities that are open to playwrights in the UK.

While we will be scouring the web and our contacts to bring you news of opportunities, we also need your help, so if you are looking to work with playwrights or you hear of any opportunities or know of companies looking for scripts, please let us know! You can leave details in the form below or email us at bruntwood.prize@royalexchange.co.uk

There are opportunities out there so let’s support each other to open them up to playwrights! We look forward to hearing from you!
