ANNOUNCING THE BRUNTWOOD PRIZE FOR PLAYWRITING 2025

2025 marks 20 years of the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting. We want to celebrate this remarkable milestone with you, and have decided to coincide our next prize cycle with our anniversary celebrations.

It will also mark 20 years of investment in the Prize by Bruntwood, the Manchester based property company, who understand the vital role that creativity plays in thriving cities.

The next round of the Prize will open later this year and culminate in 2025. The Bruntwood Prize 2025 will open for submissions at 10am on TUESDAY 9th SEPTEMBER 2024 and close at 6pm on THURSDAY 9th JANUARY 2025.

In the meantime, we are pleased to announce that, as part of the anniversary celebrations, we are offering a new programme of online writing support throughout 2024. More details on this will be announced soon.
