This opportunity is provided to playwrights as part of Playwrights’ Studio’s remit to develop and support playwrights’ growth as artists, so it is offered to those with professional playwriting experience.
Deadline for applications: 5pm, Tuesday 16th September
The opportunity is offered on a year long freelance contract (to help provide stability and forward planning for you and for Playwrights’ Studio) with a six month break clause.
You must have had two or more professional productions of your work as a writer (because your experience of production will be drawn upon for this role and will inform our workshops and reader training).
You must be interested in script reading and analysis, though you don’t have to have ‘officially’ done it before.
