The WritersRoom has two specially designed spaces at the Theatre. The Tummel Room has been created to offer writers the opportunity to be inspired by PFT’s natural landscape as it looks onto the river. There is also the Reading Room. This is connected to the Theatre’s rehearsal spaces, which will act as a library for writers, as well as another writing space.
These new writing spaces offer physical support for writers to help germinate and generate stories that PFT’s Artistic Team hopes will find a home in Pitlochry or with one of PFT’s partners like Perth Theatre, Traverse, Luminate, The Tron, Royal Lyceum, Solar Bear, HOME, plus many more.
Furthermore throughout the year there will be opportunities to learn from other great playwrights and dramaturgs like David Greig and Timberlake Wertenbaker. All these sessions are free:
