1927 are offering 4 small Bursaries of £1,500-2,000 to 4 Artists making contemporary performance

They are offering 4 small Bursaries to help you develop a piece of original, sublime, heart wrenching, political, or just plain weird performance!
Alongside the cash bursary, 1927 will offer up to 3 Mentoring sessions as required. If you’re in Margate or London, then they may be able to help with offering a free or very low cost space for you to work in too.

Criteria 

• The bursary will be given to artists who have made work previously. It does not have to be have been successful work! But proof of having created something previously is essential.
• We are looking for makers who are developing a distinctive voice
• Your work may be more film than theatre; A live album, a classic piece of storytelling, a collaboration or a solo piece of work.

Deadline
All applications must be received by 2pm on Friday 10 January 2020. Interviews will be held w/c 13 January 2020.
The Bursary supported Activity should ideally take place between January – March 2020.
