Nouveau Riche are passionate about authentic story telling. They are hoping for writing that is thought provoking, challenging that says something about the world with a sense of urgency. Stories that educate as well as entertain. They are interested in all forms of storytelling but have a soft spot for work that tends to be more experimental and less traditional in form and structure.

They’re looking to find work we want to produce and establish as many new relationships as possible over the next 5 months our objectives will be to:

• Solicit scripts and act as a middle ground between unrepresented writers and Venues.
• Identify writers for up and coming commissions and development opportunities.
• Establish dialogue/relationships with emerging theatre makers.
• Attach writers to our new Associate Writers Scheme.

​Criteria 

Full length plays and plays with music (no traditional musicals) running at 60 minutes or more. (Please no pitches or treatments!)

Deadline

Friday 18th December 2020.

All scripts that are received will be considered by the team of dedicated script readers and dramaturgs, with selected scripts sent on to be read by their Creative and Artistic Directors.

​They will aim to provide constructive feedback to writers whose voices they are excited by but whose plays may not be ready to move to production stage just yet.
