Podcast: Women in Theatre

In the first of the Royal Exchange’s new series of podcasts, Royal Exchange Dramaturg Suzanne Bell talks to Bryony Shanahan, Katy Rudd and Jude Christian on their careers and experiences as women working in modern theatre.

Jude Christian’s most recent directing credit for the Royal Exchange Theatre was the Bruntwood Prize-winning play PARLIAMENT SQUARE (a co-production with Bush Theatre). Earlier this year Katy Rudd made her debut at the Royal Exchange Theatre with the critically acclaimed world premiere of THE ALMIGHTY SOMETIMES. Bryony Shanahan will direct Maxine Peake’s play QUEENS OF THE COAL AGE for the Exchange later this year.
