“I am a total urbanite but I love the peace and quiet of my office at the bottom of my garden which is flanked on both sides by olive trees. It helps me to focus on writing but when it gets too intense, I wander around the garden, swear under my breath or chatter to myself as I try to gain some inspiration from the plants. Pity the neighbours!”
