Call out for short play submissions (around 15 minutes) from emerging women writers with a firm connection with Greater Manchester.

Bluestocking Theatre are curating a playful, exciting event over two nights at the end of September showcasing the brilliant diversity, talent and imagination of MCR. So if you’re from Manchester or have firm connections with the city and have had no more three professional productions of your work staged – they want to hear from you.

Priority will be given to scripts that centre women’s stories, explore the relationships between them and feature multiple roles for them (though they are absolutely interested in stories featuring roles for men too…).

A small fee will be paid for the scripts selected (which will increase if they are successful in their ACE bid).
