They are able to offer only two specific workshops to participants joining us remotely: Audiences and Storybuilding.

There will be BSL interpretation at the event

Workshops
There are five workshops happening throughout the day – each workshop will happen twice. You will be asked to select your preferences after you have bought your tickets – look out for the email.

1) AUDIENCES
Exploring how we look at care of our audiences – before, during and after our shows.
led by Julia Samuels (former 20SH Co-Artistic Director, freelance Theatre Maker) and Paislie Reid (Performer and Theatre Maker, 20SH Storybuilding Associate).

2) MAKING THE WORK
Exploring the journey of autobiographical work, and supporting artists making the work.
led by Keith Saha (20SH Co-CEO & Artistic Director), Jay Cast (Performer, TOUCHY + ANTHOLOGY) & Lou Platt (Artist Wellbeing).

3) LEADING A TEAM
How wellbeing is integrated into the heart of companies – for staff & freelance teams
led by Leanne Jones (20SH Co-CEO & Executive Director) and Kofi Owusu (20SH Associate, GoPlayStudios)

4) SUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE
What is a theatre company’s duty of care? Where does our responsibility end? Can it?
led by Lee Corner (State of Mind Programme Director), Donna Coleman (20SH Youth Worker), Manoka Mbolokele (20SH Trustee & ex-Youth Theatre member) and Carl Dutton (CAMHS).

5) STORYBUILDING: EVALUATIVE TOOLS
Learn about our evaluative process of our work – building the picture of change. Why data is best person-centred. Led by Maddy Irwin (Evaluator, Anni Raw & Associates) and Joe Taylor (20SH Storybuilding Associate)
