Have you ever fancied creating some drama? Saying something about the world or imagining an entirely new one? Creating your very own collection of weird and wonderful characters? If so, then this could be for you. Whether you’ve never written before but don’t know where to start or don’t quite have the confidence to commit to a course – the 503 team are offering a first taste of what it’s like to start writing – and who knows where it might lead after that.
Thanks to DCMS Cultural Recovery Fund and our Share The Drama scheme, they want to make sure those of you who are struggling in the current climate can still take part in our Summer Writers Programme. While they prioritise anyone who is long term unemployed and/or claiming benefits, they’re also offering subsidies if you’re in financial difficulty as a result of the Covid-19 crisis.
Running time of workshop: 2 hours – delivered online. Maximum class sizes are 14. A portion of spaces have been reserved for Share the Drama places.
503 Studio Tasters will be led by Steve Harper (Literary Manager), Lauretta Barrow (Literary Associate) and Anastasia Osei-Kuffour (Carne Associate Director)
