A year after the first online Playwrights’ Gathering was held during the COVID-19 crisis, join Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland, the Scottish Society of Playwrights, the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain and your playwright colleagues to discuss where we are now.

What actions have leading organisations in the sector taken to ensure the voices of playwrights are included in wider conversations? What are their plans going forward?

At this Gathering, we will hear:

• Updates from Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland, the Scottish Society of Playwrights, the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain
• The latest information from Creative Scotland from Vanessa Boyd, Interdisciplinary Performance Officer
• The Gathering is also your first opportunity to meet Louise Stephens, new Creative Director and Chief Executive of Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland.
