Access at the event includes BSL interpretation and zoom generated captions. Visual descriptions will be given for visually impaired attendees. People may remain off camera if preferred – however for the safety of the space they will ask everyone to have their cameras on at the outset of the meeting and to introduce themselves.

Anyone not wishing to speak on camera will be assigned an individual to send direct messages to for sharing with the group. There will be a ten minute complete break at the midpoint.

Please do consider all attendees and use advance content warnings with time to allow people to opt out where relevant. Please use sensitive language around serious mental health crises should it come up.

The IN/Visible Collective got together during lockdown and as they are from all over the country they have stayed together and become a group rather than a project. It’s been an exciting development and they are proudly launching their first national exhibition of newly commissioned works by artists at ARC Stockton and Arts Depot London.

They value each other and the time they get to spend together making work in real time all across the country and they want to share that with others too. So they are having a little get together / celebration with other older disabled women artists – just to say hi, check in and celebrate who we are and what we’ve achieved.

You are invited – older disabled women artists, this event is for you.

If your circumstances change and you can no longer attend please do let the group know so that they can offer the space to another disabled woman artist.
