The Arden School of Theatre are looking for SIX fresh writers aged 18-25 years to take part in a free SIX week workshop (one evening per week) with playwright and actor Andy Sheridan (Winterlong, Bruntwood Prize Winner, Wuthering Heights, Royal Exchange Theatre 2020).

The writers will be nurtured by Andy and workshop ideas with the school’s third year actors over the six weeks and finish the course by writing a short 15 minute piece to be produced and directed by an industry professional at their New Writing festival in May 2020.

Send them a 1 minute video telling them about yourself and why you want to be considered for their writing course. They will then reply with a ‘WORD’ as stimulus for two pages of dialogue. Andy will then select the six writers he would like to work with.
