Inspired by the Slate British Asian Women Writers’ Panel Discussion event that took place earlier this year at Kala Sangam. It was felt there was a need for a group based in the North similar to the Asian Women Writers Collective, set up in London in 1984.

A social and writing group for self identified women of South Asian heritage, this writers group is a space to share, collaborate or simply be inspired to write.
