Sheffield Theatres and the New Dramaturgs Group are seeking applications for two residencies to take place across August 2023: offering support for theatre creatives / companies to develop an idea for sharing.

Two residencies, each of which includes:

• £1,000 to be used towards artistic and project development
• Up to five days of rehearsal space at Sheffield Theatres
• Dramaturgical support and mentoring

Interview Dates:
Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th July 2023

On the afternoon of the final day of the residencies, Friday 18 August, there will be a New Dramaturg’s Group Networking Mixer at Sheffield Theatres at which both of the residency artists will share the results of the residency with each other, the New Dramaturgs Group, and an invited audience. This sharing may be a performance, presentation, group discussion, workshop or similar.

Information sessions about this project will be held on Tuesday 4 July at 1pm and 7pm via Zoom. The information sessions will be hosted by Tommi Bryson, Talent Development Coordinator and members of The New Dramaturgs Group.
