Battersea Arts Centre are offering an artist residency for three months beginning January 2020, for an artist to act as host to other artists staying in their suite of bedrooms.

The Artist Host will help to ensure those staying overnight in the building to experience Battersea Arts Centre as a welcoming, enjoyable and safe place to visit by providing practical and pastoral support from the unique perspective of a live-in resident of the building.

In return, the Artist Host will be provided with free accommodation, free tickets to all Battersea Arts Centre shows, a contribution towards living expenses, regular meetings with a BAC producer to talk about their practice and career development, and contact and support from the wider staff team.

This volunteer opportunity is open to artists of any discipline who are over the age of 18 and share a passion for Battersea Arts Centre’s programme, purpose and values.
