This rapid-write 6-week course hosted online by Forest Forge Theatre Company and led by playwright and dramaturg David Lane will introduce you to the basic principles of playwriting. Through quick and fun practical exercises we’ll explore structure, dramatic action, character journey, location, dialogue and form, leading to everybody writing a 5-minute play for performance by actors on Zoom in the final two sessions.

Each 100-minute workshop will be packed with professional advice and tips, and the sessions specifically designed week-by-week to help respond to the requests of the group.
