The caravan assembly is a curated gathering of performance makers and international programmers and producers. The ambition is to encourage dialogue, exchange and collaboration. The assembly will take place over three days as part of the Brighton Festival as a physical event with an online platform.

They are now seeking proposals from professional, England-based theatre and performance artists and companies who are interested in being a part of the caravan assembly 2024.

Companies and artists will have the opportunity to participate in the assembly in a range of ways including:

• Public performances
• Pitch sessions
• Talks, Q&As, panel discussions, presentations and networking opportunities.
• They remain open to artists and companies suggesting other ways to best share their work and practice with an international network.

To help the artists/companies make the most of the opportunities that arise from the assembly, there will also be a programme of professional development events in the lead-up.
