CFT Young Playwrights is designed to bring together aspiring local young writers who want to develop their craft using practical exercises. This peer-led group coordinated by LEAP trainee Fin Ross Russell, offers a relaxed space to get creative with your writing and start working towards your first award-winning play! Participants will also benefit from masterclass sessions with CFT Writer-in-Residence Anna Ledwich and bestselling author Kate Mosse.

Working with fellow young writers on a similar level you’ll experiment with different topics and styles of writing, sharing work in progress, thoughts and ideas. At the end of the term you’ll also have the opportunity to share your work and hear your script performed in a reading by others in the group.
