With the pandemic highlighting the divide between those that can afford to survive in the arts, and those that can’t, how do we make sure that the arts are truly for everyone? If you have no financial backing or built-in-network, how do you develop your craft and turn a passion in to a career?

Chaired by journalist Lyn Gardner (The Stage, Stagedoor App) in conversation with Matthew Xia (Artistic Director, ATC Theatre) and director Matthew Dunster. Further panellists to be announced.

This panel discussion is co-hosted with the Cameron Mackintosh Fund for Contemporary Drama at the University of Oxford.
