Beginning this week, Playwrights’ Studio is partnering with arts venues across the country to help make free warm co-working spaces available to playwrights at least once a month. When using the spaces, playwrights will have access to a space to work, tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi. Partners confirmed so far are The Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock, Macrobert Arts Centre, Stirling, Aberdeen Performing Arts, Aberdeen and Birnam Arts Centre, Perthshire.

Sign up for each date opens one week before via online form or by phoning Playwrights’ Studio to book your space: just indicate your chosen venue and date. Allocation will be made on a first come, first served basis every month. This service is free and open to any playwright based in Scotland.

The first Coorie In dates are:

BIRNAM ARTS CENTRE, PERTH – Friday 25th November
PLAYWRIGHTS’ STUDIO, SCOTLAND, GLASGOW – Thursday 1st December
BEACON ARTS CENTRE, GREENOCK – Tuesday 13th December
ABERDEEN PERFORMING ARTS, ABERDEEN – TBC
MACROBERT ARTS CENTRE, STIRLING – TBC
