Knaive Theatre are looking to meet artists of any form who are creating experiences specifically for online engagement.
They have been experimenting with digital platforms this summer. But, they have been missing the conversations which happen around live work and noticed that there is a bit of a distribution problem. So they have attempted to create a solution which they would like to offer to other companies/artists in a similar situation: an experimental digital venue with an eight-week season of work in October & November this year.
The Lock Inn Theatre
Is an experimental online fringe venue designed to host digital work, one artist at a time. They are curating an 8 week programme of online work with post-show discussions via video -conferencing. Audiences will be invited to donate on a pay what you can basis after seeing the work.
They are looking for work which experiments with digital form in some way and are particularly interested in artists trying a technique for the first time. As there is no fee for the work, they are initially looking for digital work which has already been made/funded but looking for an audience. At the end of each week they split everything made 60/40 in favour of the artist.
