This an opportunity for Black artists, and fellow artists who are also marginalised for their race, to share and connect with Slate World UK’s Ella Mesma, Melanie Abrahams and cultural thinker Suzanne Alleyne.
The themes of wellbeing and self-care within a time of transition and how we can make the changes we need and still be ourselves will be at the heart of this conversation.
Suzanne Alleyne is a creative strategist and cultural thinker, working at the intersection of academic research, business and culture. She explores, interrogates and studies the big questions currently facing contemporary society. Her passion is to create new and mutually beneficial partnerships between arts organisations, brands, corporate businesses, and individuals that develop and test new models, and ways of working through collaboration. Her portfolio of clients includes Barclaycard, Channel 4, V&A, Wellcome Trust and Roundhouse.
