Fix It is a free event led by Shifting the Dial and supported by BEDLAM Festival. This innovative event which will take a new and creative approach to

  • sharing strategies on how we help young black men to thrive in the work place
  • leading an open, solutions-focussed conversation between employers and young people

The format will include panel discussions with young people fromLightpost Theatre Company around the topic of employment vs entrepreneurship and how social media is changing the way young black men approach their career plans.

Shifting the Dial (Centre for Mental Health, First Class Foundation, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust and The Rep) is dedicated to improving young black men’s resilience and wellbeing and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
