Papatango Theatre Company will deliver a free playwriting course at The Hat Factory Luton from September 2017 – January 2018. They want to hear from budding writers looking to take part.

Over the 5 months of the course, 16 participants will be guided through the process of conceiving, writing and redrafting a play. There will be workshops on 30 September, 21 October, 2 December and 13 January. One of the plays will then be picked for a staged reading on 15 February, completely free for a local audience.

If you are available on these dates, near to Luton, and want to hone your playwriting skills, please email participate@papatango.co.uk with the subject line: ‘[Your Name] Luton Writers’ Course’ and a 200 word letter explaining why you’d like to take part.

No prior experience is necessary, but Papatango would like to know what you hope to gain from the course and what kind of story you’d like to tell. The deadline is midnight on 15 September 2017.
