If you are based in the North East and want to get into theatre criticism or develop your critical writing skills; if you’re a journalist or blogger and would value honest feedback on your writing from an experienced critic; if you already write reviews but are keen to hone your skills and get more experience; if you’re trying to increase your blog profile or reach a new audience; if you regularly go to the theatre but have never written a review and you’re not sure where to start; if you would like to be part of or help to develop a network of critics in the region; or if none of the above apply but you really love seeing shows and have opinions, then Northern Stage want to help!
- Tuesday 6 November, 7.15pm* – press night for Under Milk Wood at Northern Stage
- Thursday 8 November 12.30-3.30pm – workshop with Lyn Gardner, including 1-2-1 feedback on your draft review**
- Friday 9 November – publish your review***
*If you can’t make press night you can see the show on Wednesday 7 November at 7.45pm
**If you’re unable to attend or stay for the whole workshop, feedback by email can be arranged
