Job- Nottingham Playhouse Agent for Change

Salary: £9,600 per annum (£24,000 FTE)
Hours: 2 days (15 hours) per week. To be delivered over Monday to Friday.
Contract: Part Time, Fixed Term for 12 months

Nottingham Playhouse are seeking a confident, proactive individual who has significant understanding of the experience of being disabled, to play a key role in contributing to Nottingham Playhouse’s delivery of its objectives around the Ramps On The Moon project and to champion organisational, and sector, change with regard to engaging and working with deaf and disabled people as artists, employees, participants and audiences.

You may be an artist, arts administrator or from another sector entirely; they are fully open to shaping the role to the skills and interests of the person appointed.

Ramps On The Moon brings together a collaborative network of 6 regional producing theatres: New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich, mNottingham Playhouse, Birmingham Rep, Theatre Royal Stratford
East, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Sheffield Theatres and associate partners Wiltshire Creative and RTYDS. These theatres are committed to offering opportunities to deaf and disabled people by
putting deaf and disabled artists and audiences at the heart of their programmes, embedding accessibility and inclusivity into mainstream theatre.

Ramps On The Moon, is an ambitious 6 year project, the first 3 years being funded by the largest ever Arts Council England Strategic Touring Programme grant, to create each year a new, high quality, touring theatre production which is creatively exciting and ensures that everybody has a place both on and off stage. The productions tour to the partner venues and beyond. These productions have fully integrated casts and creative teams. They will also provide an opportunity to engage with and develop deaf and disabled audiences.
