ROLE: Head of Commercial, Hospitality and Events

SALARY: £27,000 per annum

CONTRACT: 35 hours per week, permanent

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Operations and Commercial Activity

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Hospitality and Events Manager, Assistant Hospitality and Events Manager, Hospitality and Events Team.

As our visitor experience offer expands to bring the bar and café functions inhouse, the time is right to sharpen our focus on commercial activity, develop our hospitality offer and further enhance the visitor experience.

The Head of Commercial, Hospitality and Events will lead our newly integrated Hospitality Team. As we bring our bar and café offer inhouse, and work to develop a commercial focus, this role will manage our inhouse team, with responsibility for the bar, cafe and events, ensuring that all visitors receive the best experience across all areas of hospitality.

This role will focus on increasing spend per head and work with the newly appointed Director of Operations and Commercial Activity to diversify income streams across the theatre. The Head of Commercial, Hospitality and Events will take direct responsibility for all aspects of delivering hospitality and events, ensuring effective internal communications throughout.
