Dramaturg

The Royal Court Theatre, London, are looking for an artist whose practise focuses on new work and who brings experience of working with writers; a deep curiosity about dramaturgy; and a commitment to new forms and stories that will disrupt, reconstruct, and open-up space for change. The Dramaturg will be part of the Literary and Artistic teams, working closely with the Literary Manager, Associate Directors and Literary Associates across writer development. They are open to offering this role either as a fixed term employment contract or as a freelance engagement, whichever is preferable.

Literary Co-ordinator

The Literary Coordinator is a key role in the Literary Team and will work closely with the Literary Associate and Literary Manager to support and nurture writers at every stage of their career. They are looking for someone who has not had previous experience working in a literary department but who has a deep interest in new writing; a curiosity about the stories around them; and a commitment to questioning and disrupting ideas about how stories are told. Key areas of work include script submissions, writers’ groups and other writer development opportunities such as attachments and workshops.
