London Playwrights Blog are inviting their  members to send in their scripts to be read in full  and get valuable feedback on their work. Selected writers will join a year long development programme which will culminate in their work being read by actors. If you’re not a member already, you’re welcome to sign up and it costs just £3.63 per month.

There is no page limit, just send in something you think is ‘complete’ – as in written in full from start to finish. There are no limits on style, subject, theme etc

5 writers will be selected for their development programme. An addition to this, 3 writers will be selected for the Play Club 2023, which is an online book club for plays. This will include individual mentoring/ dramaturgy and group workshops. The programme will culminate in a reading with actors. The programme will take place online so no one is restricted by their location.

How to submit: please send your completed scripts to membersubmissions@londonplaywrights.org, along with this, please complete an Equal Opportunities Form.

Guidelines 

• Open to over 18’s only.
• Please also ensure you have an active London Playwrights membership before submitting, each submission will be checked and those who aren’t members will unfortunately not be able to continue with the process.
• One script per writer.
• Stage, screen and audio plays are accepted (but bear in mind their specialism is theatre).
  There is no page limit as long you feel the script is complete from start to finish.
• Feedback will be provided to all writers.
