To celebrate the London Playwrights Festival 2021 LPB are bringing you a series of online workshops! Session are FREE but if you’d like to support the festival, there is an option to ‘pay what you can’ for your ticket!

Sometimes a piece of writing demands a different approach to the well known technique of a typewriter and a desk, be it for a single scene to capture a sense of realism, or for an entire play that requires frequent collaboration to help it come to life.

Led by Selwin Hulme-Teague, this workshop will look at some of the ways that performance and improvisation can be used to generate character, setting and text.

You do not have to be a skilled actor or improviser to come to this workshop, just be ready to try out both a bit of performing and a bit of writing!
