MGCfutures bursary can help you to realise an ambition, boost your creative development or even help you to transition to a new career. Bursaries are from £500 up to £5,000.

Eligibility

To enter you must

• already be working in the industry
• be able to clearly articulate your passion for theatre and performance

They’re keen to extend support to even more of the professions that play such a vital role in making the performance happen. This list is extensive and includes back-stage roles such as carpenter and electrician, administration positions such as marketing, publicity, and digital and creative skills such as design, wardrobe, lighting, sound and video.

The scheme is however still open to applications from writers, directors, producers and theatre-makers but please be aware that these will be extremely competitive categories.

They actively encourage applications from BAME candidates and other underrepresented groups.
