This is an opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a producer and the all-important relationship between artist and producer. As representation onstage improves, there is still some way to go with representation behind the scenes. This workshop is aimed at East Asian and other minority groups interested in producing.

The session will be led by Tuyet Van Huynh, Tuyen Do and Ruth Holdsworth. Tuyet and Tuyen (VanThanh Productions) are the team behind the Summer Rolls at Park Theatre, the first British Vietnamese play to be staged in the UK. Ruth Holdsworth works as CAN’s Senior Producer, supporting the wide variety of British Chinese artists taking part in CAN Festival each year.

This workshop will be on Tuesday 2nd July from 3-5pm at Park Theatre, N4 3JP. There will be an opportunity for networking from 5pm.
