Quantum Frolic’s inaugural short play writing competition asks for playwrights from across the globe to submit self-contained scripts of 20 minutes or less (no identifiable extracts from longer pieces). All submissions will be reviewed with a shortlist of up to eight going forward to live rehearsed readings in front of an audience and an industry panel. These scripts will be considered for the following prizes: 

Third place: £20

Second place: £50

First place: £250 and the chance to be fully produced and staged by QFT at a later date.

There is a £10 entry fee. Monies raised from entry fees will go towards the prize fund, venue hire (performance and rehearsals), publishing the shortlisted scripts into book form and reading the submitted scripts.
