Join Queer Arts North for an afternoon of performance + provocation, exploring the lives of LGBTQ+ people, for artists, creatives, producers, programmers, venues, festivals or community groups, interested in LGBTQ+ arts and culture.

Hosted by keynote speaker Rikki Beadle-Blair with performances from Ro Hardaker, gobscure, Rhiannon Scutt, Idle Women, Mandla Rae, Roma Havers, Jamaal Monarch and Bordello Theatre. The showcase will be BSL interpreted by Caroline Ryan and Lauren Lister.

Plus panel discussions, development sessions (funding advice & artist pitches) and training opportunities.

Queer Arts North Artist & Venue Opportunities:

• Artist Pitches – tell the room about your work (2min pitch slots available)
• Funding Advice Sessions – get advice from Arts Council England (20min sessions available)
• LGBTQ+ Awareness Training – if you’re a venue who want to be more LGBTQ+ aware join us for Curious Arts’ LGBTQ+ Awareness training (2hr session) Please note: LGBTQ+ Awareness Training and Funding Advice Sessions will take place earlier in the day at Yorkshire Dance, LS9 8AH.
