Live Theatre is interested in imaginative and surprising new plays by writers who challenge existing perceptions of the world we live in. They are always keen to engage the diverse audiences of the North East of England and particularly welcome plays that do this in innovative ways.
Guidelines
There are two script submission windows per year, in spring and autumn, in which Live Theatre accept scripts of full length plays (60 minutes or longer) written for the stage (they do not consider radio, film or television scripts, adaptations, pantomimes, musicals or unfinished plays).
Only one script per writer will be accepted during each submission window.
Writers must be currently based in the UK or Republic of Ireland.
Please note: They not able to give feedback on work they’re not intending to develop.
Deadline
Wednesday 31 October 2018.
