Scriptwriting workshop with Andy Sheridan (the Royal Exchange) for people with lived experience of mental illness, 18+ in Greater Manchester

This is the first of 4 virtual workshops that are a collaboration between Breakdown Bolton CIC and the Royal Exchange Manchester, funded by the European Social Fund and Awards for All with the aim of providing creative opportunities for people facing mental illness/substance misuse issues in Greater Manchester, aged 18+

Priority will be given to those who are enrolled/can enrol on our project ‘Breaking Down Barriers and Building Belief’ funded by the European Social fund. The eligibility criteria to enrol onto this programme is that you are living with/facing mental illness/substance misuse issues, are aged 18+, live in the Greater Manchester postcode region and are classed as socioeconomically inactive. The workshops will run on 4 consecutive Wednesdays:

2nd June 2021 – Scriptwriting with Andy Sheridan via zoom, 10.30am-12.30pm.

9th June 2021 – TBC via zoom, 10.30am-12.30pm*

16th June 2021 – TBC via zoom, 10.30am-12.30pm*

23rd June 2021 – – TBC via zoom, 10.30am-12.30pm*

**The following unconfirmed sessions will likely include another scriptwriting session, wardrobe/costume session and potentially puppetry. The weeks for these are yet to be confirmed but will all be lead by industry professionals who work as part of the Royal Exchange network. As soon as we have further confirmation we will update this.
