Do you have a passion for new writing? Could you successfully work with​writing talent to produce exciting new work for the stage?

As Playwright Mentor, you will mentor Sheffield Theatre’s Bank Supported Writers and act as a point of support for other writers working with Sheffield Theatres and assist the theatre in discovering new talent and developing new plays and musicals for the stage.

​You will also help to dramaturg new plays and those under development by reading scripts and providing feedback and notes.

​You will work alongside our New Work Officer to ensure the smooth running of the New Work department and its work.
