Sherman Theatre wishes to appoint an experienced and dedicated Literary Manager on a full-time, fixed term contract for one year to enable the Literary Department to build on the foundations laid this past year. This additional year of the programme will once more be supported by Arts Council Wales.

This role sits at the heart of the Sherman artistic process, working closely with the Artistic Director to cultivate and elevate Welsh writers and writing. They want to empower people from all walks of life to become playwrights, supporting them from grassroots to professional careers. This role will oversee the development of commissioned and produced plays as well as ensuring that voices from all backgrounds are represented within the Sherman Theatre programme.
