Splash and Ripple are working on a project with University of West England exploring how to deliver an empathy-driven storytelling experience about migration. The project is particularly interested in creating the conditions to experience another person’s perspective.
They are looking for someone who is excited to work with us to develop new ways of telling stories. In collaboration with UWE they have interviewed 20 people who have moved to the UK from other parts of the world. They are looking to commission a story based on this research, to be turned into a site specific audio experience.
The piece will open in Bristol in November 2018 and will tour in 2019. You will be working to a brief in close collaboration with the creative director and the sound designer.
FEE: £4,000 – £5,000 to include travel, expenses and VAT. Based on experience.
