EMERGE 3 returns to London’s Bunker Theatre in March 2018.

EMERGE is a night of immediate response to works in progress. This platform gives four emerging writers the opportunity to collaborate with a company of actors and directors to showcase their work to industry and receive mentorship. Previous EMERGE pieces have gone on to be performed at the Hampstead Theatre, The Old Red Lion and Camden People’s Theatre.

They are looking for previously unproduced work and submissions can be short plays or extracts from a longer piece.

Guidelines

Short plays and excerpts from longer pieces. Maximum Length: 20 minutes.

Restrictions: Minimal Set, Max 4 cast members.

There is no specific theme.

No musicals and MUST BE unproduced writing.

When submitting please write ‘(Name) – (Title)’ in subject and must include: a casting breakdown (with ages).

Only ONE submission per writer.

PLEASE NOTE: Gaining feedback is a big part of the event and all artists shortlisted need to be present to receive this on Mon 5th March, 2018.
