Summer Arts Project (29 August – 1 September)- The Met, Bury

£80 per child for four days
Sessions will take place on Tuesday 29, Wednesday 30 & Thursday 31 August, and Friday 1 September.

The final day Friday 1 September, will take place at Burrs Country Park near Bury as part of the Head For the Hills festival.

Each day will run 9.30am-4pm with breaks for snacks and lunch (children should bring their own packed lunches).

Pre-booking only. Places are strictly limited. Participants must commit to attending on all four days.

11-16-year-olds are invited to come and create festival performance characters for the Head for the Hills festival!

Over the four days you will get a chance to:

  • Devise and build a world for our character to explore.
  • Work with highly skilled theatre-makers and designers to create characters, props and costumes.
  • Explore immersive theatre and how to perform in a non-traditional setting.

Become street performers for the day on Friday 1 September at Head for the Hills.

This is a chance to build new skills, release your inner performance artist and have some fun with like-minded imaginative people.

If you would like to have a chat about the Summer Arts Project and participating in the festival please email education@themet.org.uk
