Supported Residencies Open @ Edinburgh Performing Arts Development

EPAD’s Supported Residencies programme aims to support the creation of new work and to build connections between Edinburgh-based performing arts creatives and venues across the city. For the second round, we are offering three one-week residencies, each with a specific artform or practice development focus.

  • The Traverse Theatre (9th-13th September) – with a focus on new writing

  • The Scottish Storytelling Centre (16th-20th September) – with a focus on storytelling

  • North Edinburgh Arts Centre (28th October-1st November) – with a focus on community-led practice

There is a budget of £1,500 attached to each residency. The programme is open to artists working in the performing arts at all stages of their careers and independent producers are also welcome to apply. You can download application guidance here.

Applications for the second round of residencies open on Monday 29th April and close at 5pm on Monday 27th May.
