The Almeida Young Critics exists to equip young people between the ages of 16–25 with the ability to critically engage with the arts.

As well as having the opportunity to watch ground breaking new theatre, the Almeida Young Critics experience a wide variety of the arts accessing all disciplines including dance, art and music. Through regular workshops they develop the skills and confidence to deconstruct the arts and cultural industries and ask – how does it work? Through exploring different response styles from formal written reviews, podcasts, blogging and filmed interviews, the critics are able to hone their analytical and creative skills. They also have their own blog!

This is a FREE programme and the Almeida cover all costs of theatre tickets etc.

Deadline 

Selection workshops will take place in an Islington venue on the following dates;

Wednesday 19 September and Thursday 20 September.

They will be in touch in mid-September to confirm your workshop slot.
