West London Playwrights’ Group is a course for first-time playwrights and is open to anyone over 18 living in West London. Over the course of 9 weekly classes, taking place every Saturday, The Bush artistic team will take you through the fundamentals of playwriting and support you in writing your play.
This opportunity is specifically intended for those who have received no formal writer training before and applicants don’t even have to have experience of writing a full play! You must be a resident of West London.

Writers will need to be available from 10am-1pm on the following dates:

- Saturday 19 February 2022
- Saturday 26 February 2022
- Saturday 5 March 2022
- Saturday 12 March 2022
- Saturday 19 March 2022
- Saturday 26 March 2022
- Saturday 2 April 2022
- Saturday 7 May 2022
Between 2 April and 7 May 2022, they will schedule individual meetings with writers to discuss their plays.
They intend for these sessions to take place on site at the Bush Theatre. However, if a session needs to take place on Zoom then we will provide the group with prior notice.
