In this workshop, Slate Enabler Adam Lowe invites attendees to think again about all the things artists are too embarrassed to ask about: day rates, invoicing, late payments, pensions, unions and tax returns. We’ll be offering solutions, navigating best practice and highlighting red flags when you’re self-employed.

As this is a workshop, you’ll be discussing your own processes and what works and doesn’t work. You’ll consider ways to improve and streamline how you manage ourselves as a business. Adam will also signpost useful tools and resources for all attendees.
