Seven Black Women have a script submission open for Writers that are Black Women, Mixed Black Women or a Non Binary Individual. You must have at least previously written one other script (TV, Film, Theatre or Short Films of minimum 15 pages)

This is a submission where two writers will be chosen and receive an opportunity to connect with industry professionals.

The professionals are Maria Odufuye – Script Editor on Sex Education S4, Elizabeth Kwenortey – Script Editor on Grantchester S8, Imogen O’Sullivan – Head of Development at New Pictures & Executive Producer on new BBC show Champion

Terms & Conditions

• Send an outline- the first 10 pages of your script (You will need to have the full script ready if chosen. Pages should be minimum 30 maximum 60)
• You need to have a full script & pitch ready if you’re chosen (Pitches can be prepared whenever if/once you’re chosen)
• TV Script only (This should be a pilot of an idea you’d like to make into a series)
• You must be a Black Woman, Mixed Black Woman or a Non Binary Individual
• Please do not send us an early draft of your script
