TheatreCraft returns for 2019

Want to work in theatre, but not as an actor? TheatreCraft is for you! They provide information, resources and advice on your next steps for breaking into the industry. It is the UK’s largest free careers fair for young people aged 16-30 looking for an offstage career in theatre. TheatreCraft was created by Masterclass in 2003 as a way to provide opportunities and advice to young people seeking offstage roles in theatre, and is now run in partnership with the Society of London Theatre, the Royal Opera House, and Mousetrap Theatre Projects.

At TheatreCraft, you can:

  • Explore a vibrant Marketplace packed with stalls and talk to leading UK theatres, companies and education providers
  • Make connections and network with other young people starting their theatre careers

  • Learn about upcoming theatre jobs and opportunities

On 11 November 2019, TheatreCraft will be returning to the Royal Opera House for the first time since 2015.This marks the free theatre careers event’s return to the Royal Opera House following the completion of its extensive ‘Open Up’ renovation project to enhance public spaces and the opening of the new Linbury Theatre.
